Between 1959 and 1963, ICAD first published its journal, Campaign. It was largely written, illustrated and designed by ICAD members themselves. It also included contributions from clients and patrons, articles commissioned from experts and items of interest to Irish creatives that had been published or presented elsewhere. In May 2016, with thanks to Irish Design 2015, Issue 12 was finally launched. This issue, like its predecessors, tackles contemporary industry insight and often wit. Facing a vastly altered media landscape, as well as a 53-year hiatus, the editors attempted to celebrate the many achievements of the industry and provide some historical, as well as future-facing commentary.
